born in Union Co., Pa. Married Jean E Shiffler (b. Jan 7, 1923) on Apr 12, 1946. They lived on the Gundy farm at the old schoolhouse - Lewisburg, Pa. Leon worked for the Maintenence dept. at Bucknell University for 25 years until his death. Leon was a member of the Hookies and No. 1's of Northumberland. Together they had nine children.Leon & Jean split up in early 1970. He passed away due to liver illness.Leon is buried at the Bucknell Cemetery, Lewisburg, Pa. Jean currently resides in Sunbury, Pa.
