born in Staffort, Badden Wurttemberg, Germany. On Sept 10, 1737 he arrived in Philadelphia, Pa on the ship "Snow" Molly. Documentation shows he traveled with his father and brother, Johann Jacob, however it was not required for women and children to be documented. He settled in Warwick, Lancaster Co, Pa ... where he was a wagoner. He was one of the earliest members of the Emanual Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brickerville, Lancaster Co. Married Eva Barbara Bauer (b. Mar 6, 1696 d. 1745) on May 26, 1716 in Staffort Germany. He died in Lancaster Co, Pa.
